Startegy is an effort to get the hidden entrepreneur out of you
What is it?
Startegy is a non-profit effort to get people to start their own venture, whether this is a new business or some other project.
How?
Startegy is a "venture-by-adventure". In a casual but challenging and collaborative environment, we meet to participate in a series of "play-driven" workshops. Their aim is to get you to realise that there are solutions to problems, there is a way ahead and that you can build a team and even lead it.
Startegy is not just about "play", but also about techniques that unblock imagination and unleash talent, aspirations and entrepreneurial skills.
Who we are?
We're no venture capitalists, nor angel investors. We won't advise anyone on how to build a venture, nor how to fund it.
We're people that want to help out through motivating you and getting you to act and network with others that may be able to do for your venture more than you ever expected. We're no gurus nor oracles.
Our background spans from sociology to civil engineering and from IT to real estate. Some of us have been around for long enough while some others are fresher in business. We're entrepreneurs, geeks, extroverts, doers and in general a fun bunch to network with (or at least we think so:-).
Why do it?
Whether you are already working in a competitive market or you want to enter the market with a new idea, Startegy will motivate you to attempt something new!
Whether you're starting or re-starting you'll discover new people and techniques to get you to the start.
Who is it for?
Regardless of age and professional level, if you want to experience a dynamic and play-driven approach to business learning and networking, then Startegy is for you.
Our motivation
We're based in Greece, a country where today people are feeling let-down, disoriented and worried about their uncertain future. In this bleak environment we decided to act.
How? We want to show people that there may be a way-out through growth. More jobs are usually created through startup driven growth than in any other way.
It is now in the midst of so much uncertainty and rising unemployment, the time to strike back! It is our view that some people are "closet case entrepreneurs". We believe that with them lies hope and potentially prosperity for more. We want to do our bit and get them out to build their future, our future.

The next event is going to take place in Athens on Saturday January 29th at the Microsoft Innovation Center. Doors will open at 10:00am and the event will run from 11:00am to 6:00pm.
